Aalo Ki Kheer Recipe

Ingredients

1. Aalo (Potato) 1 medium
2. Pakola Full Cream Milk 1 & ½ litre
3. Chawal (Rice) 2 tbs (soaked for 30 minutes)
4. Zafran (Saffron strands) ¼ tsp
5. Khoya 200g
6. Sugar 1 Cup or to taste
7. Badam (Almonds) chopped 1 tbs
8. Pista (Pistachios) chopped 1 tbs
9. Pista (Pistachios) chopped
10. Badam (Almonds) chopped
11. Dried rose petals

Directions

1. Peel potato,cut into small pieces & set aside.
2. In a pot,add milk & bring it to boil.
3. Add potato,rice,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame until tender (10-12 minutes).
4. Add saffron strands & mix well.
5. On low flame,blend well with the help of hand blender.
6. ote: If using a non-stick pan,make sure blender doesn’t touch the bottom of pan.
7. Add khoya,sugar,mix well & cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
8. Add almonds,pistachios & mix well.
9. Garnish with pistachios,almonds & dried rose petals.
10. Refrigerate until chilled
