Balochistan’s district Sherani has been covered with bushfires for the past many days, and the Federation, the Army, and FC have been engaged in firefighting along with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
According to details, authorities are providing full support and assistance to snuff out the fire while two Pakistan Army MI-17 helicopters have also been participating in the firefighting operation.
On the other hand, FC Balochistan has set up relief and medical camps in the area and every possible effort is being made to save lives and property in the area of 8 to 10 kilometers.
It may be recalled that NDMA has provided firefighting suits, fire extinguishers, firefighting balls and DCP chemical bags.
Earlier the Inter-Services Public Relations Pakistan (ISPR) has released an update on Balochistan’s cedar forest fire and according to given reports, Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan are providing maximum assistance and they are in contact with headquarters and with the PDMA.
As per details by ISPR, fire is mostly ablaze on mountain tops (10,000 feet above sea level) away from the population but continues to spread because of hot weather, inaccessible terrain, and dry winds.
