Ingredients

1. Boneless beef 750g
2. Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup
3. Kacha papita (Raw papaya) paste 2 & ½ tbs
4. Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 2 tbs
5. Lemon juice 2 tbs
6. Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) roasted & crushed ½ tbs
7. Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp
8. Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
9. Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 2 tsp
10. Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp
11. Namak (Salt) 1 tsp lor to taste
12. Tez patta (Bay leaves) 2
13. Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 3-4
14. Laung (Cloves) 3-4 -Javitri (Mace) 1 blade
15. Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 2
16. Khopra (Desiccated coconut) 2 tbs
17. Badam (Almonds) blanched 12-15
18. Pakola Full Cream Milk 1/3 Cup
19. Cooking oil 3-4 tbs
20. Makhan (Butter) 2-3 tbs
21. Lehsan (Garlic) sliced 4-5
22. Hari mirch (Green chillies) 3-4
23. Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 7-8
24. Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp
25. Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 medium
26. Pakola Full Cream Milk 1 Cup -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2
27. Cheddar cheese grated 3-4 tbs
28. Garam masala powder ½ tsp
29. Hari mirch (Green chilli) sliced 1-2
30. Adrak (Ginger) julienne
31. Hara dhania (Fresh coriander)

Directions

1. In a bowl,add beef,yogurt,raw papaya paste,ginger garlic paste,lemon juice,coriander seeds,black pepper powder,turmeric powder,cumin seeds,red chilli crushed,salt and mix well,cover & marinate for 1 hour.
2. In spice mixer,add bay leaves,green cardamom,cloves,mace,black cardamom,desiccated coconut, almonds and grind well.
3. Add milk,grind well to make a paste & set aside.
4. In a wok,add cooking oil,butter and let it melt.
5. Add garlic,green chillies,black peppercorns,cumin seeds and mix well.
6. Add onion,mix well and sauté until translucent.
7. Now add marinated beef and mix well.
8. Add milk and mix well.
9. Add ground paste,mix well and bring it to boil.
10. Add fresh coriander and mix well,cover and cook on medium flame until tender (approx. 1 hour).
11. Add cheddar cheese and mix well.
12. Add garam masala powder,green chilli,ginger,fresh coriander & mix well.
13. Garnish with fresh coriander,green chilli,lemon slices & serve!
