Chocolate Mousse Trifle Recipe

Ingredients

1. Vanilla Mousse:
2. Sugar ¾ Cup
3. Cornflour ½ Cup & 2 tbs
4. Namak (Salt) 1 pinch
5. Vanilla essence 2 tsp
6. Anday ki zardi (Egg yolks) 2
7. Pakola Full Cream Milk 1 & ½ litre
8. Makhan (Butter) 40g

Dark Chocolate Mousse:
⦁ Dark chocolate grated 100g

Caramel Mousse:
⦁ Caramel biscuits 300g
Substitute: biscuits of your choice

Assembling:
⦁ Badam (Almonds) chopped
⦁ Chocolate shavings

Directions

Vanilla Mousse:
⦁ In a wok (thick bottom pan),add sugar,cornflour,salt,vanilla essence,egg yolks,milk & whisk until well combined.
⦁ On stove,place wok,turn on the flame,mix well continuously and cook until it thickens (approx. 12-14 minutes).
⦁ Add butter,whisk well & set aside.Vanilla mousse is ready!

Dark Chocolate Mousse:
⦁ In a bowl,add dark chocolate,pour 1/3rd of vanilla mousse (hot) & whisk until well combined.
⦁ Let it cool completely & transfer to a piping bag.
Caramel Mousse:
⦁ In a chopper,add caramel biscuits & chop until crumbled.
⦁ In a bowl,take out half quantity of crumbled biscuits & reserve half for later use. -Now pour half of vanilla mousse & whisk until well combined.
⦁ Let it cool completely & transfer to a piping bag.
⦁ Now cool down the remaining prepared vanilla mousse & transfer to a piping bag.

Assembling:
⦁ In a serving glass,add crumbled biscuits,almonds,mix & set gently.
⦁ Now add layers of caramel mousse,dark chocolate mousse,vanilla mousse & garnish with chocolate shavings
⦁ Serve chilled.
