KARACHI: After a shocking turn in the case of Dua Zehra with Sindh High Court’s ruling to set the girl free to decide her fate, the girl along with her alleged husband was shifted to Lahore today, reported BOL News.

As per sources privy to the matter, Dua and Zaheer Ahmed are scheduled to appear in Lahore High Court tomorrow.

It was also reported that the accused Zaheer Ahmed in Dua’s abduction case was not presented before the Judicial Magistrate. The sources informed BOL News that the accused  and Dua Zehra were shifted to Lahore without presenting them in the trial court.

On the other hand, father of Dua Zehra, Mehdi Kamzi, has alleged that the girl was willing to reunite with the family and agreed to give her statement but the court refused.

Earlier, SHC on Wednesday allowed teenager Dua Zehra to decide with whom she wants to stay. SHC resumed the hearing for the most hyped case of the missing teenager and allowed the girl to decide with whom she wants to stay, her parents or husband.

In a three-page written order, Justice Junaid Ghaffar maintained that the court has announced the verdict in the light of testimonies that have proven the girl was not abducted.

Mehdi Kazmi requested the establishment and the government to help him in the recovery of his daughter as he claimed that the daughter during the short meeting in the court admitted to returning back home with the parents.

Notably, the girl went missing in April and even after several twisting turns, the family is still unable to reunite with their daughter.
