Federal minister terms opposition alliance a ‘seasonal disease’

KIRK: Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed on Saturday has said that the opposition is a bunch of incompetent, thieves, corrupt and repudiated people who have been taking to the streets for the last three years.

Saeed while addressing a public rally in Kirk lambasted the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of opposition parties and termed it a seasonal disease.

“Imran Khan has won elections in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will win in Sindh including all the provinces of the country,” said Saeed.

He went on to say that Prime Minister Imran Khan bravely fights the case of Kashmir in front of the United States not like former rulers who used to go abroad for medical treatment out of people’s money.

Federal Minister Murad Saeed has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has provided facilities like health card of which millions of people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will get benefits from free healthcare.

He said the opposition has announced protests but the people have rejected the gang of corrupt and incompetent people.

“The opposition is only appearing in talk shows and holding press conferences but the people do not participate in their meetings and do not vote for them,” the Minister said.

Note that, PDM has announced to hold a protest today at Saddar Regal Chowk area of Karachi against the government over rising inflation in the country.

Jamiat e Ulema Islam (JUI-F) and Pakistan Democratic Movement Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will lead the protest. Leaders and workers of other parties including PML-N will also participate in the protest, BOL News reported.
