The Google Pixel 6 series has appeared countless times in leaked images and renders, but this is the first time we are seeing it in a hands-on video. The latest leak comes from tipster Brandon Lee and it shows a Google Pixel 6 Pro prototype in a short hands-on video.
I think this may be the first hands on video leak of a Google Pixel 6 Pro.— M. Brandon Lee | THIS IS TECH TODAY (@thisistechtoday) September 21, 2021
FYI: The logo would indicate that this is likely an early production test unit, so that means there may be some differences between what you see here and the actual production device. #teampixel pic.twitter.com/4QSvdktqA7
The front resembles Samsung Galaxy Note 10 with its squarish symmetrical look and the centered punch-hole camera. The screen is curved at the edges and the power and volume buttons are on the right side. The inverted logo on the back indicates that it’s only an early prototype device, meaning that we might see some changes in the final product.
This is Google’s usual way of trying to hide that the device in question is a legit Google phone. The unique main camera is no different from what we have seen in past leaks.
Google has already teased the October 19 launch date for the Pixel 6 lineup, but we now have even more evidence for this particular date. Australian carrier Telstra has posted a new ad on Facebook that says “All-new Google Pixel 6 coming soon”. It asks people to register for the launch for a chance to win a Marvel Stadium sports experience.
The offer ends on October 19 and there is a high chance that this date is no coincidence.
