League Nawaz (PML-N) Hamza Shahbaz said restoration work of the Malika e Kohsar is going on day and night. Hamza Shehbaz said this while chairing a follow-up meeting of his visit to Murree.
He directed for construction and repairing of Murree roads and the removal of encroachments near Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Murree. He asked the management to install an incinerator at the THQ hospital.
The chief minister ordered the construction of a park on the vacant land. He said management should provide a safari train for tourists. He said stadiums have been inaugurated to promote sports and asked to make street lights functional.
On the other hand, Hamza Shahbaz has also directed to improve sanitation arrangements in the summer resort and urged to start plantations around the Mall road. He said that he will visit Murree again and check the progress himself. He ensured to provide best facilities to the tourists this season.
Malik Abrar, Khalid Mehmood, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and concerned officials attended the meeting. Whereas, Rawalpindi’s Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner attended the meeting via video link. Both Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner apprised Hamza Shahbaz of the progress.
