Chief Minister of Punjab and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Hamza Shahbaz Sharif appreciated the Police for working attentively in the province of around 12 crore people regarding the law and order situation.
While discussing with the media, Hamza Sharif said vehicles were wrecked during the long march, they were set on fire and the marchers were ignoring Supreme Court’s order.
He said that the Sialkot martyr’s family will get a martyr package while referring to the public he said that he will go out every day to serve the people of the province. While complaining about Sialkot, Hamza Shahbaz said that they don’t have any governor or cabinet and said he would make sure the Sialkot Underpass construction program will be implied soon.
Hamza Shahbaz added that he doesn’t care what Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan said, he will work for the public with dedication. He also cleared the air regarding the increase in petrol price and said that increase of Rs 30 is not only difficult for the people but also a burden to the government. As the dollar has skyrocketed and Pakistan’s economic reputation is at stake, this situation forced them to take this decision.
Earlier while visiting the house of the 15-year-old rape victim girl, Samreen Bibi, in the Kot Khokhar area, he said the incident of physical abuse of the girl during the robbery was extremely sad. He met the victim and her family and assured them of complete justice. He directed police to bring the suspect, who raped a teenage girl during a robbery incident in Pattoki, to justice.
