One of Ayodhya crossing will be named after Lata Mangeshkar

A prominent crossroads in Ayodhya will be built and named for the late Lata Mangeshkar, the legendary vocalist Bharat Ratna.
The Ayodhya administration has been instructed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to pick a significant crossing in the temple town and submit a proposal to the state government in the next 15 days to rename it after Lata Mangeshkar.

The Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has begun identifying key crossing points throughout the city. Songs devoted to Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman sung by Lata Mangeshkar would also be played in Ayodhya.

The key crossing in Ayodhya on the way to Ram Janmabhoomi was most likely chosen for this project, according to official sources.

“Within the next 10 days, we will finalise a significant crossing and submit a proposal to the state government to rename it after Lata Mangeshkar,” said Rishikesh Upadhyay, the mayor of Ayodhya.
