Pakistan Navy foils Indian submarine’s attempt to transgress Pakistani waters
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Navy “detected and blocked” an Indian submarine from entering into Pakistani waters, said the Inter-Services Public Relations in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the military media wing, an Indian submarine had attempted to transgress Pakistani waters on October 16. However, the Pakistan Navy, due to its “unremitting vigilance and professional competence,” had detected and blocked the Indian submarine from entering into Pakistani waters.
“During the prevailing security milieu, a strict monitoring watch has been kept by Pakistan Navy to safeguard maritime frontiers of Pakistan,” said the ISPR.

The statement confirmed that it was the third time such an incident had taken place and credited the navy’s long-range maritime patrol aircraft for the premature detection and tracking of the Indian submarine.
“The recent incident reflects the deplorable Indian machinations vis-à-vis commitment and resolve of Pakistan Navy to defend maritime frontiers of the motherland,” concluded the ISPR statement.
