Pakistan won’t spare any ‘effort’ in thwarting India’s ‘aggressive designs’, FO warns New Delhi

ISLAMABAD: Taking note of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s threats, Pakistan warned New Delhi that Islamabad will not spare any “effort in resolutely thwarting any aggressive designs”.

“While Pakistan is a peace-loving country, we will spare no effort in resolutely thwarting any aggressive designs,” said the Foreign Office in a statement.

The FO while called Shah’s statement “irresponsible and provocative statement”.

“This delusional statement only goes to further demonstrate the BJP-RSS combine’s propensity to stoke regional tensions for both ideological reasons and political expediency, based on enmity towards Pakistan,” warned the FO.

The FO said that such statements are a smokescreen to divert the world’s attention from India’s state-terrorism and systematic human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), and against Muslims and other minorities in India.

“Pakistan has repeatedly drawn the attention of the international community to India’s sinister designs of staging “false flag” operations to implicate Pakistan and Kashmiris,” emphasised the FO.

The FO reminded New Delhi that Pakistan’s response to India’s Balakot misadventure in 2019, including the downing of Indian combat aircraft and capture of Indian Air Force pilot, fully demonstrates the “will, capacity and preparedness” of the country’s armed forces.

Amit Shah warns of surgical strikes

Earlier today Indian Home Minister Amit Shah warned Pakistan of more surgical strikes for its alleged transgressions and sponsoring the killing of civilians in Kashmir.

“The surgical strikes proved that we don’t tolerate attacks. More will come if you transgress,” Home Minister Amit Shah was quoted by India Today.

Shah claimed that the alleged “surgical strike” by India under PM Modi was an “important step”.

“We sent out a message that no one can disturb India’s borders. There was a time for talks, But now is the time to reciprocate,” Shah claimed.
