PM to visit Turkey next week for strong bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to visit Turkey next week at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to attend a high-level strategic meeting concerning bilateral cooperation.

As per details, the PM will be in Turkey from May 31 to June 1 and the visit is aimed at strategic dialogue between Pakistan and Turkey.

The discussion will focus on bilateral relations, trade, investment and defense.

The sources revealed that the prime minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation during the trip.

Earlier, the PM said on Thursday hinting at the Azadi long march by Imran khan that anarchy and polarisation in the society should be ended.

While talking to the law enforcers, during his visit to the D-Chowk in Islamabad, he said, “The country will move forward, if we walked on the path of the law and constitution. We have to make Pakistan peaceful and prosperous.” He was accompanied by Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.
