Sesame Prawns
Sesame Prawns Recipe
Ingredients
1. 90 ml cake flour
2. 45 ml rice flour
3. 2.5 ml baking powder
4. 45 ml sesame seeds ( Thill)
5. 10 ml red curry paste or any other curry paste
6. 20 ml soy sauce or vinegar
7. 1 egg beaten
8. 150 ml cold water
9. 350 gr peeled prawns
10. little extra flour
Directions
Mix together flour, rice flour, baking powder and sesame seeds.
2. Using a whisk, stir in the curry paste, soy sauce, egg and water to make a thin coating batter.
3. If a thicker paste is desired, use lesser water.
4. Toss prawns in extra flour – dip in batter.
5. Deep fry until golden brown.
6. Fry on medium heat.
7. Drain excess oil and remove from oil.
8. Serve hot with chutneys or sauces.
