Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the general election will be held in October 2023.
While talking to the media, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that as long as National Accountability Bureau (NAB) remains an institution, the affairs of the country cannot be run. He said that we have to observe what the NAB institution is? What has NAB done for the country?
He added that Javed Iqbal is trying to come back again, an attempt was made to distort politics through NAB. The former PM said that there are institutions of accountability and law in the country and there are institutions like the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and anti-corruption in the country.
He further said that NAB’s statement to stop corruption in the country is absolutely wrong, this is the most corrupt institution in the country. They are resolving the issue of load shedding while retired officers will definitely be elected if they want. However, the general elections will be held in October 2023.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will launch the National Dialogue for the Charter of Economy.
According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz will address the ‘Business Conference’ today, which will be attended by the business community from across the country.
During the visit, PM Shehbaz will hold important consultations on the budget with the business community across the country. He will present his vision for the economic development and prosperity of Pakistan to the business community.
