Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was given detailed briefing on the administrative affairs and law and order situation of the province. He was also briefed on the recent incidents of terrorism in Karachi.
The Prime Minister said the government will not allow the miscreant elements to disturb law and order situation of Karachi.
The two sides agreed that the federal and provincial governments will work in collaboration for development and progress of Karachi.
Notably, at least one person was killed and 10 other people were injured in a blast that happened at Karachi’s Iqbal Cloth Market in Kharadar near Memon Mosque on Monday night.
The investigation sources said ostensibly the 2 kg bomb was planted in a bike for the purpose.
Amid soaring terrorism in Karachi, the offices of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Pakistan International Airline (PIA) would now be under strict vigilance and tightened security measures.
The development came after terrorist attempts in a row in the metropolitan city in past few weeks.
As per details, directives have been issued to tighten the security measures at the offices of CAA and PIA headquarters and all departments in the metropolitan city.
The sources revealed that unauthorized visitors have been barred from entering the premises and the vigilance teams have been ordered to be geared up at all times.
