SINGAPOREAN RICE

SINGAPOREAN RICE Recipe

Ingredients

For chicken gravy:
1. Chicken boneless ½ kg
2. Soya sauce 1 tbs
3. Vinegar1 tbs
4. Oil 2 tbs
5. Salt ½ tsp
6. Red chili powder ½ tsp
7. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
8. Black pepper ½ tsp
9. Hot sauce (or Chili Sauce) 1 tsp
10. Ketchup ½ cup
11. Water 2-3 tbs Stir fried vegetable + noodles
12. Boiled Egg noodles 200 gms
13. Oil 1 tbs
14. Ginger (julienne cut) 1 tbs
15. Capsicum ½ cup
16. Spring onion white chopped ¼ cup
17. Spring onion green chopped ¼ cup
18. Cabbage (julienne cut) 1 cup
19. Carrots (julienne cut) ½ cup
20. Salt to taste
21. Black pepper to taste
22. Red chili powder ½ tsp
23. Sesame oil ¼ tsp
24. Soya sauce 2 tbs
Mayo sauce:
1. Mayonnaise ½ cup
2. Ketchup 1/3 cup
3. Hot sauce (or chili sauce) 1 tsp
4. Salt 1 pinch
5. Black pepper 1 pinch
Rice:
1. Rice ½ kg
2. Salt 1 tsp
3. Oil 1sp

Directions

1. To make chicken gravy, heat oil and add chicken and ginger garlic paste and fry until chicken changes color.
2. Add soya sauce, vinegar, salt, red chili, black pepper and mix well.
3. Add hot sauce, ketchup and little water and cook for 3-4 minutes more.
4. Dish out In the same pan, add oil and all vegetables except green onion’s green.
5. Add soya sauce, salt, black pepper, red chili and stir fry for 1-2 mins.
6. Add boiled egg noodles and toss.
7. Add sesame oil and green onions’ green.
8. Toss well and dish out in a bowl and set aside.
9. Mix all Mayo sauce ingredient and pour in a sauce bottle.
10. Set aside. Cook 2 cups of rice with 1 tsp of salt and set aside.
11. Fry garlic slices and green chili slices and set side.
12. For Assembling: In a serving dish, spread a layer of rice on the dish.
13. Add second layer of stir fried vegetables with noodles, than third layer of chicken gravy. Add mayo sauce and fried garlic and green chilies as top layer
