Smokey Mutton Recipe

Ingredients

1. Pyaz (Onion) 2 small
2. Water ¼ Cup or as required
3. Hari mirch (Green chillies) 6-8
4. Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs
5. Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ½ Cup
6. Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ¼ tsp
7. Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
8. Zeera powder (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp
9. Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
10. Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste
11. Lemon juice 3 tbs
12. Mutton mix boti 750g
13. Cooking oil 3-4 tbs
14. Garam masala powder ¼ tsp
15. Pyaz (Onion) rings 1 medium
16. Koyla (Charcoal) for smoke

18. Lemon wedges
19. Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

Directions

1. In a blender jug,add onions,water,green chillies & blend well.
2. Take out in a bowl,add ginger garlic paste,yogurt,turmeric powder,salt,cumin powder,black pepper crushed,red chilli pwder,lemon juice & whisk well.
3. Add mutton & mix well,cover & marinate for 2 hours.
4. In a wok,add cooking oil & heat it.
5. Add marinated mutton & mix well,cover & cook on medium flame until meat is tender (40-45 minutes).
6. Add garam masala powder,mix well & cook on high flame until oil separates & dries up.
7. Add onion rings & mix well for a minute.
8. Turn off the flame and give coal smoke for 2-3 minutes.
9. Garnish with onions rings,lemon wedges,fresh coriander & serve!
